About the event
Join us for a short canyon hike to Steelhead Falls on the Deschutes River. We will start with free coffee (BYOM*) while supplies last, then walk the half-mile trail down into the canyon to the falls. It’s about 1 mile round trip. If you’d like a little more, part of the group can continue downstream along the river before heading back.
Bring water (there is no drinking water at the trailhead), snacks, sturdy shoes, and warm layers.
There is no pressure to do the entire hike. Come for coffee, walk to the falls, or keep exploring along the river. The goal is not performance. It is to enjoy the day, get outside, move your body, and spend time with good people.
Meet in the Steelhead Falls Trailhead parking lot (look for the MMOR Hike Club A-frame).

Hike: 9:45–11:30 AM
