About the event
Join us for a winter hike through Shevlin Park, just 10 minutes from downtown Bend. We will start with free coffee (BYOM*) while supplies last, then hike the Shevlin Park Loop through the forest along Tumalo Creek, with footbridges and creek views along the way. The full loop is about 4.75 miles. For a shorter outing, walk along the creek and turn around whenever you’re ready.
Bring water, snacks, warm layers, and shoes you don’t mind getting muddy. Traction like microspikes is a good idea.
There is no pressure to do the entire loop. All are welcome. Come for coffee, take a short walk along the creek, or do the full loop. The goal is not performance. It is to enjoy the day, get outside, move your body, and spend time with good people.
Meet in the main parking lot just inside the park entrance, not the roadside parking out…
